Tax Planning & Accounting Solutions

Greetings! My name is Ben Badgley, and I am a CPA practicing in Asheville, Weaverville, and Burnsville North Carolina where I have worked in public accounting for 9 years. I serve small businesses and families in the area, assisting with income tax planning, income tax filing requirements, bookkeeping needs, and general business consulting. I aim to be an advisor to my clients, not merely a tax preparer.

I serve three different types of clients: Tax Compliance Clients, Tax Planning Clients, and Full-Service Clients. Here is a bit about each so you know where you fit best.

Tier 1: Tax Compliance – Annual Tax Return Preparation. This only includes the filing of relevant tax returns for the current year and does not include any bookkeeping, tax planning, or other services.

Tier 2: Tax Planning – This includes Tier 1 services, but also includes at least 1 Tax Projection and meeting before the end of the year. This service is recommended for those who wish to plan for or reduce their tax liability before the end of the calendar year.

Tier 3: Full-Service Bookkeeping and Business Advisory Services – These services are customizable for your small business and occur quarterly or monthly depending on your needs and are in addition to Tier 1 or Tier 2 services. I have an experienced staff to help ensure these services are handled in a timely and efficient way for you.

Most of your needs from a CPA firm will fall into one of these three tiers, but I often advise clients on specific issues that come up and charge at an hourly rate.
